A holistic approach to data management

Standardised, smart digitisation and automation processes. Holistic view of data management. For sustainably accelerated project times.
Development of processes, model-based methods, systems and tools for the highly efficient creation of planning and project data as well as for the optimisation of data management processes.
The digital transformation of control and safety technology requires a large amount of data for a holistic approach. This includes both current topography and infrastructure data, as well as an exact digital reflection of reality that incorporates technical, procedural and operational aspects into the overall analysis. Such a task requires interdisciplinary expert knowledge from different areas in the railway sector. On the one hand, thorough knowledge of railway operations and in-depth knowledge of planning and implementation processes. On the other hand, a high level of technical expertise in the technology fields of TMS, ATO, ETCS and DSTW with their national and international characteristics.
We implements highly efficient processes for the creation of planning and project planning data. We combine a high level of expertise in data acquisition, modelling techniques and understanding of standards with many years of development experience. For intelligent data management that standardizes and sustainably accelerates your project runtimes through smart digitalization and automation processes.
New systems, interfaces and tools must be conceptualised and developed in order to optimally design data management processes in the rail sector. Not only to meet functional objectives, but also to gain acceptance through the necessary clearance or approval. quattron prepares all required documents for you in accordance with EN51012x standards. This includes concepts, system definitions, specifications and test cases. Together with the RAMS expert team at quattron, further artefacts such as risk analyses, RAMS plans or approval strategies can be created.
quattron combines a high level of technical knowledge with many years of practical experience in the modelling of systems. To master complexity and ensure sustainable quality and consistency, our teams consistently use model-based methods. And this throughout – from the development of complex system architectures to the mapping of processes and interfaces. If desired, we can use a variety of modelling languages such as UML, SysML or even the Arcadia method with Capella. Perfectly adapted to the individual working methods in your company. For agile, collaborative and successful project work in joint teams.
The efficient and rapid acquisition and provision of up-to-date data with sufficient accuracy for safety-relevant applications currently represents a bottleneck in the digitalization drive of the railway sector when using conventional methods. With TRAXIMIZER and TRAXHUB, we offer an intelligent solution to ensure the digitalization, verification, and updating of infrastructure data based on safe evaluation processes (certified to EN 50128). Topology and infrastructure are captured during ongoing operations, and the processed data is integrated directly into leading systems via standard interfaces (e.g., BIM, PlanPro, railML, ERA Ontology).
TRAXIMIZER
For large-scale line projects and demanding topologies, the TRAXIMIZER system offers considerable advantages over conventional terrestrial acquisition methods by capturing infrastructure data during ongoing operations, thereby significantly reducing your project costs. The system can be deployed on a track-by-track basis without any restrictions on infrastructure availability. This eliminates the need for track closures, construction operation planning and safety planning.
Validation
Our specialized tools also support testing and acceptance inspections through precise data analyses, rule-based checks, and complete digital documentation. The TRAXIMIZER suite extends this process with the automated validation of planning and engineering data. Through the parallel acquisition of image data, all information can additionally be verified visually as needed. The result is greater planning reliability combined with cost optimization.
BIM Data integration
In addition to viewing in video and point clouds, we offer a model-based view in the BIM viewer. Make use of our highly automated processing pipeline for publicly available and railway-owned geodata as well as IFC libraries to support digital planning and to integrate the “as-built” measurement data into the “as-planned” planning model.
