Migration of BOS digital radio to a broadband network
The migration of BOS digital radio to a broadband network includes the transition of all network levels of the access network for the TETRA base stations to an IP-capable broadband platform. quattron supports this process with competent strategy consulting, network planning, and consulting in the implementation of this network migration.
For almost two decades, quattron has been supporting the development and operation of BOS digital radio in Germany in the roles of consultant, expert and project manager. The quattron teams are responsible for managing the network development for around a quarter of the nationwide network and have been supporting authorized agencies of the federal states for years in network operation and fixed network connection.
Furthermore, the development of strategies to increase the sovereignty of the internal administration towards industry and mobile network operators is being driven forward. An integral part of this is the negotiation and management of contracts and being responsible for equipping properties with BOS digital radio, in particular equipping all Deutsche Bahn tunnels.

- Monitoring the connection of the new network components to the network management of the agency authorized for BOS digital radio
- Supporting our clients with project documentation, risk management, and the organizational anchoring of the new transmission systems in the operational processes
