High-performance, network-wide analysis of timetable stability in small and large railway networks

The evaluation of a timetable with regard to the expected operational quality is still mainly the domain of small-scale simulations or large-scale guessing games. However, a well-founded punctuality forecast is a prerequisite for improving rail services and is used for decision-making when comparing and evaluating timetables. This application purpose is fulfilled by OnTime, a stability model jointly developed with trafIT solutions, which is currently used by SBB, Infrabel and DB InfraGO in particular.
